If rioting and protests by mobs continue then every citizen must remember two essential things before leaving for work in the morning, their face mask and M-16 automatic weapon
An article published by the NRA American 1st Freedom Magazine entitled, More than Two Million Americans are Now First Time Gun Owners, discuss growth of lawful gun ownership in the United States of America
https://www.americas1stfreedom.org/articles/2020/6/3/more-than-two-million-americans-are-now-first-time-gun-owners/
If lawmakers defund the police all United States citizens should be given a free M-16 military grade automatic weapon and taught how to maintain an automatic weapon as well as use weapon for self defense. Could defunding the police under conditions that a free M-16 military grade automatic be given free to every citizen save responsible hard working tax paying citizens a lot of money? The police do little or nothing but show up at your door to collect half of what little a person has worked hard for in life to give to someone else for free similar to the character Negan on The Walking Dead.
Also, a free handgun may have to be provided to every citizen paid for by defunding police. It will be difficult to pack a M-16 automatic weapon around everywhere in public.
If rioting and protests by mobs continue then every citizen must remember two essential things before leaving for work in the morning, their face mask and M-16 automatic weapon.
In my freelance article entitled, Justice for George Floyd and Victims of Police Brutality can only be Gotten within Legislative Assemblies and Courts of Law, I referenced a Time Magazine article entitled Why Martin Luther King Jr.'s Lessons About Peaceful Protests Are Still Relevant.
http://introspectivetimes.blogspot.com/2020/06/justice-for-george-floyd-and-victims-of.html
In the aforementioned article Dr. Martin Luther King jr. is quoted as writing, "If we as Negroes succumb to the temptation of using violence in our struggle, unborn generations will be the recipients of a long and bitter night of—a long and desolate night of bitterness. And our only legacy to the future will be an endless reign of meaningless chaos.”
In my researching Dr. Martin Luther King's legacy I learned Dr. Martin Luther King loved the law and prayerfully struggled in silent prayer before God with the issue of civil disobedience, although he conceded that in the course of human events civil disobedience is sometimes necessary.
In my freelance article entitled, Justice for George Floyd and Victims of Police Brutality can only be Gotten within Legislative Assemblies and Courts of Law, referenced above I aptly pointed out that Dr. Martin Luther King legacy is that he won civil liberties for the African American community, but for some reason civil liberties by African American leaders among the 116 Congressional Black Caucus are not being used. Furthermore since all human beings are a product of evolutionary biology then there is no such thing as a peaceful protest. All protest by mass mobs are violent by nature.
The 1st Ammendment of the United States of America constitution guaranteeing the right to assemble to redress grievances is about redressing grievances within legislative assemblies and courts of law by small groups representing larger populations at town halls and not by mass mobs protesting on the street. Mass mobs protesting on the street is about insurrection and insurgency to destroy the United States of America.
Why is Dr. Martin Luther King great? Did Dr. Martin Luther King win civil liberties for the African American community or not? The 116th Congressional Black Caucus, former President Barack Obama and Attorney general Eric Holder holding highest offices in the land, Black mayors at the helm of leadership in major metropolitan cities that are international powerbrokers of economic commerce demonstrates Martin Luther King's legacy.
