Meryl Streep’s full throttle repudiation of Donald Trump's campaign antics is outlined in an article published by Look entitled, Donald Trump Responds to Meryl Streep, at the following URL address:

Meryl Streep's repudiation serves to emphasize value of limited government which is a central tenet of the GOP Republican platform ( https://www.gop.com/platform/we-the-people/ ).
The GOP Republican party platform clearly states:
"We reaffirm the Constitution’s fundamental principles: limited government, separation of powers, individual liberty, and the rule of law. We denounce bigotry, racism, anti-Semitism, ethnic prejudice, and religious intolerance. Therefore, we oppose discrimination based on race, sex, religion, creed, disability, or national origin and support statutes to end such discrimination. As the Party of Abraham Lincoln, we must continue to foster solutions to America’s difficult challenges when it comes to race relations today. We continue to encourage equality for all citizens and access to the American Dream."
Donald Trump's campaign antics are designed to accentuate a spastic society wildly flailing and fluctuating between extremes of inflationary and deflationary pressures resulting from an absence of strong leadership. A reporter with a motor disability who happens to work for both liberal and conservative news outlets at different points in time is merely coincidental within this brimming controversy.
A spastic society plummeted by cascades of erratic waves of nervous pulsations is a consequence of both liberal and conservative mass media outlets vying to be heard and power within a capitalist society as a consequence of being heard. Our economy has a collective consciousness with a mindset of a drunken sailor staggering between extremes of inflationary and deflationary pressures. Carl Jung is neopsychoanalytic therapist who explored collective consciousness.
As an actress Meryl Streep craves to live drama. Donald Trump is a convenient antagonist. The exercise of democracy is about drama. As William Shakespeare poignantly wrote, "We are all actors upon a stage". The exchange between Donald Trump and Meryl Streep is democracy at its finest.
In order to break down defensive walls contributing to creation of monomaniacal personalities we need to embrace the TAO concept of oneness. Although, we as Americans may have differences of opinion, and express ourselves in different ways, when philosophically contemplating the aggregate totality we exist as the flip side of the same coin. In a previous Facebook article I provided a discussion of formation of self defensive monomaniacal personalities.
My article about self defensive monomaniacal personalities as related to social media is entitled, Is Social media Reviving the Ancient Malady of Monomania?, can be found at the following URL address:

Paradoxically, an act of embracing the holistic Tao concept of oneness removes the antagonist and protagonist thereby eliminating democracy. Hence, we must remain actors upon a stage, as elegantly written by the famous playwright William Shakespeare. If a car battery does not have a cathode and an anode than the driver will get nowhere.
I enjoy the entertainment of watching them go at it. Break out the popcorn.
