I think issues pertaining to school shootings should be discussed at your upcoming NRA conference in Houston Texas. As a writer and lobbyists for the high tech industry I am willing to give a presentation at the NRA conference if I am invited with all expenses paid including airline flights, lodging, and food expenses.
After yet another school shooting, politicians demand something be done now. As a writer and lobbyists for the high tech industry I want to propose a solution to school shootings.
Smart guns with trigger mechanisms that lock near schools, grocery, retail, church services and other public settings can potentially solve the problem of mass shootings.
Smart guns with trigger mechanisms that lock when pointed at the police can also save lives of law enforcement officers. Police cruisers can be installed with artificial Intelligent systems that automatically lock trigger mechanisms of smart guns when law enforcement officers make traffic stops.
The gun lobby may argue that smart guns violate second amendment rights to constitutional carry. The Wikipedia webpage entitled, Constitutional Carry, provides information about second amendment rights:

Constitutional right to carry guaranteed by the second amendment allows individuals to protect themselves with firearms. If all smart guns are locked at a public event then it will not be necessary to return fire in self defense.

When two people draw on each other in a gunfight like in the old cowboy days then this is low hanging fruit for attorneys who want to fatten their wallet to travel to exclusive resorts all over the world. It is going to be a big court case. Ultimately, tax payers pay for big court cases. Gun owners may as well allow criminals to shoot them dead and steal everything they got.

Failure of public venues to insure safety of all people attending a public event as a guest by implementing a smart gun system with trigger mechanisms that lock can open up trillions of dollars of litigation in lawsuits against host of public events.

Joe Bidens Build Back Better initiative should allocate all public money to building infrastructure of smart cities by application of artificial Intelligent supercomputers powered by quantum computing to keep people safe. Otherwise, Build Back Better government spending will be allocated to pad stock portfolios for constituents who make large donations to left and right wing candidates who have a small vision of creating infrastructure of cities of the future by painting confusing squiggly lines on streets and highways, lanes that abruptly end, and turn abouts to deliberately cause more highway accidents as an effort to pad stock portfolios of big campaign donors.

School shootings are particularly egregious because young people are denied the opportunity to improve themselves by education. Education ultimately enables students as individuals to fulfill God's Plan. I would like to dedicate an entire issue to helping victims of school shootings. Perhaps surviving family members of school shootings over the years may want to participate as non paid contributors to help launch this new print on demand magazine concept to build smart cities to not only keep us safe but help every individual become successful in accomplishing goals to fulfill God's Plan:
