The 1st Amendment of the U.S. constitution does not guarantee the right to engage in massive street protests. Peaceful street protests do not exist. The right to assemble to address grievances guaranteed by the United States of America Constitution often encourages enormous mobs of individuals, all of whom have their own agenda for social change. Enormous mobs of millions of individuals flooding streets in protest, all of whom have their own agenda, is counterproductive and contradictory to the rule of law. The rule of law should reflect American value systems upheld and revered by the general population.
In early American history democracy flourished within small group dynamics. The 1st Amendment of the U.S. constitution does not guarantee the right to engage in massive street protests. Peaceful street protests do not exist. All street protests by unruly mobs are violent by preventing citizens who have nothing whatsoever to do with many grievances of unruly mobs from using public steets.

The 1st amendment of the U.S. Constitution guarantees the right to peacefully assemble to redress grievances in courts of law and legislative assemblies.
